Lily has been making all of my cakes/cupcakes since we moved here. I've had over a dozen experiences with the owner and her bakery. I am always leaving with a huge smile on my face! The cakes for one taste amazing, the presentation is always perfect, and the customer service is top notch! You will not be disappointed working with Lily for all of your cake needs!
The cake was still cold and it still ended up messed up due to unprofessionals. This cake didnt even last 2 hours outside of the store. It never fell over inside the box. They failed to tell me that it needed to stay refrigerated. How does a cake sit there melt and fall over when its still cold? They basically told me to go f*** my self. Worst bakery I've been to so far. You'll never get my money again. The mirror wasn't properly positioned on the cake. It was a beautiful cake made by ugly people.
Due to the good reviews and experience on cake wars, I was so excited to order from this shop. Unfortunately, I couldn't be more disappointed at this point. I ordered a cake for my son's cake smash tomorrow. When I went to pick it up, the woman told me they had made it yesterday and that the letters had bled on the frosting. I asked if it would bleed more by tomorrow morning (That's when the cake smash is) and she said yes it will bleed more since it's buttercream. Considering this shop seems to have a lot of experience, why would you do it that way if you knew it would bleed and end up looking messy? They gave me no solution to it and basically said I am out of luck. The only thing they did was allowed me not to pay the 10 dollars I had left, but that doesn't fix the fact that this is the night before my son's cake smash, which will never happen again, and the cake is pretty much guaranteed by staff to not look good by the morning. I am thoroughly disappointed and will never give my business again.
They pick and choose who they want to make nice cakes for.. but it's totally fine with me I am in the process of legal actions as we speak. I have hired an attorney. I worked very hard on my wedding to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it I even decorated my entire venue because I am very precise about what I want .. when I walked in and seen this cake I literally begin to cry for what I pay for it I expected the work to at least be exceptable! I went into talk to Lily herself and she completely blew me off and made excuses for every thing that I pointed out
Lily's cupcakes make every celebration a success whether for work or at home. My favorites are lemon, blueberry, and German chocolate. The staff are always helpful and professional. I am beyond excited about their new store opening in Temple, on 31st Street across from Scott & White Hospital. I stopped by this afternoon when I noticed the open sign blinking in their window. Aaahhhh! Now Lily's bites full of heavenly deliciousness are just down the road from me
