After over two years, still nothing from this lawyer. Never returns email or calls in a reasonable time. Had to go to another lawyer who actually knows what he's doing and he completed my dfas case in only two months. Go elsewhere, you won't regret it.
I just called in wanting to see why I haven't received a call back from Mr. Barina abut some follow up on the close of my case and she stated that he was out of the office for the day. I stated that I understand that he is busy and that my reason for calling two days in a row is that I am really pressed to get the answers I need to my questions. His assistant then became rude in her tone and stated that Mr. Barina is not busy. (Now, if he is not busy, then why is he not returning my calls?) After stating that is he busy if he is not in the office or able to return my call, she then rudely interrupt me stating that Mr. Barina is not busy and that he is dealing will personal family matter. (Aka he is busy with family stuff) At that point I mentioned to her about her tone and how rude it is and she went off stating that I am disrespecting her. I told her I wasn't disrespecting her and that she needs to understand the context of which the word "busy" was used in. She then went on to argue some more, I told her that when I come up there, we can have a heart to heart to understand each other better and she for some reason took it as a threat to harm her and said she would have me arrested and that Mr. Barina and her will no longer be working with me and that my number will be blocked. She obviously doesn't understand that I will at some point will be seeing Mr. Barina and that requires me to come to the office. So after arguing some more trying to get her to understand that I will be in the office at some point, that, I was in no way, making threats and that her customer service skills need some serious improvement and that she needs to understand her position and her place, I just end the conversation. AGAIN DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS OFFICE! If this is the quality of personal he keeps, it is no wonder I didn't feel completely satisfied when my case was over.
I literally got off the phone with Mr. Barina, he is an amazing attorney, very knowledgeable and is very sympathetic to my concerns. Leslie is awesome she set up a phone call with him in a very timely manner. Best law firm in Killeen.
I used this law firm a few years ago in my child custody/support case...Mr. Barina at the time was the 2nd most expensive attorney in that area at the time. This guy is a joke! Once he has your money he doesn't care! I had witnesses and everything for my case. They where never called upon. Communication was lacking. It is very difficult to get a hold of him. We spoke literally right before we went into the court! Horrible experience! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
His assistant is flat out rude and on a power trip. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO ONE DOES BUSINESS HERE. I will never deal with her again and he has now lost business because of her.
