*Taking advantage of the drink specials
absolute sh!thole. Will throw you out for being slightly tipsy while others are passing out drunk in the parking lot.
*Eyes looking dilated
Also, like some of the other reviewers say, the bouncers are guys that are on a power trip. They walk around with their chest puffed out knowing they have the authority to ruin your night. I have seen a guy I was talking to get kicked out .... Why? I had just been talking to him for over an hour... Because a bouncer wanted to talk to me. YES the bouncers kick guys out for very very petty reasons, like dancing with another guy, dancing alone, being buzzed, etc. Also, the police just wait right outside for them to do it to slap you with a drunk in public.
*Bouncers just wanting to use their authority
*Dancing alone
The DJ plays the SAME EXACT music every weekend. It seems more like a playlist, especially the hip hop music. At this point I could tell you which don't comes next because its literally always the same.
They will kick you out for no reasonable reason at all, so just be aware.
*Minor stamp being less visible because you actually wash your hands after using the restroom
OVERVIEW: This club is in a good location and has a nice dance floor. Along with its nice dance floor and convenient location comes a terrible DJ, arrogant bouncers, awful management, inconsistent pricing, & watered down drinks. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!
CROWD: The crowd is usually military, military wives, or local college students. Most of the students come in crowds when they come. Most military wives have husbands stationed elsewhere, and they are just looking for cheap thrills & someone to take them home. Most of the military goes are just looking to get tore up.
*Drinking more than a few beers even when you have a DD
PRICING: It changes depending on the night of the week, but the last time I went it was free for females, $5 for 21+ males, & like $15 for minor males. Drinks specials are sometimes good, but end sort of early. The cost of drinks is very inconsistent and changes depending on which bartender you go to. Serious problem that needs to be addressed by management.
I drove to this club from AZ to spend my wife's birthday and had a great time three nights in a row. They reserved tables for us. Brought us champagne. Plain and simple we had a blast with great people.
VENUE: They allow smoking inside, so you're going to leave reading of it. The dance floor is nice and the bathrooms are usually cleaner than Porta Potty's.
It's a great club but the music can get super repetitive. All in all great time
Until they fix their music and their prices, I'm done going here, which sucks because I used to come every weekend.
MUSIC: The music is very repetitive, and the DJ does not stay current with his music. Good luck trying to request a song, as he typically won't consider it and then rudely respond. He casually makes remarks along the line of "we sell sex and alcohol." Most of the music is top 40 country, line dances, and older hip-hop.
*Being buzzed
So they recently raised their prices WITHOUT offering anything else in return. They did not upgrade their DJ, which many reviews recommend, they did not lower drink prices, nothing. But they started charging for females ALL NIGHT LONG. Never have I gone to a local, low scale club that charges for females. Even the upper scale clubs in LA still let females in for free before a certain time.
Wild Country is in a good location that attracts a lot of military and college students. It can be really packed when military paychecks and student schedules line up. The location and lack of competition is about all this place has going for it...
*Being the boyfriend to a girl that the bouncer wants to hit on
*Requesting songs to the terrible DJ
EMPLOYEES: A majority of the bouncers here are arrogant guys who did not amount to much after high school. It is evident that many became bouncers to be in a position of authority in order to get respect. Most often this position of authority is taken advantage of and customers are treated poorly. I've seen many people kicked out for NO reasonable reasons. Some reasons I've seen people get kicked out were...
