We have always been so impressed with our Harker Heights police department. On several occasions our home alarm has sounded when we were away and within minutes they have been there checking on our home and readily available to answer our questions. Each officer we have ever come in contact with has been polite, professional, kind and courteous. We are proud of the police team we have here and are thankful for them. Thank you Harker Heights Police department for all you do!
They were nothing but kind and had an officer call me back to speak about how I could file with the courts. Literally had a call back within 5 mins and the officer sounded genuine and was happy to walk me through the process. Have nothing but great things to say about how they handled the situation. Thank you for everything you do for the community!
Respond fast to emergencies but have NEVER once called me back to inform me on what they said the would, 2 times it's happened before, I called today to find out about the report from last week about a neighbor, they said they'll have an officer call me back... still waiting on that call, we'll see even if I get one.
The HH Police department has the worst service I've ever experienced. They seized my electronics with a search warrant to help solve some case of a suicide/homicide next door that had nothing to do with my family based on the grounds of "Might contain evidence". This was a month and a half ago. Every time I call the department to talk to the detective working the case, I get excuse after excuse. Today's excuse was he called in sick. The week before was he was on vacation. I'm without certain electronics I need for school and work because it's taken them almost 2 months to copy a hard drive from each electronic. That's petty.
Their some of police officers are dishonest when it comes to writing citations. I always believe the law enforcement personals are stringt forward. but some of the officers like Ra*** S****. Who wrote 97 out 298 citation for month of 06/2015. let me tell you this they have 54 plus officers who wrote 2/3 of all citations but this officer wrote 1/3 off citations for this month. WOW he is SUPER cop.
